2017 Mallard Creek High School Rising Star Scholarship Winner:
It is with great pleasure and pride that Prism Family Law Firm (formerly Hunter & Hein, Attorneys at Law, PLLC) provided Azizamosi Henry a $1,000.00 scholarship as part of our inaugural Mallard Creek High School Rising Star Scholarship.
Ms. Henry finished the 2015-16 school year with a 4.8 GPA, and has been heavily involved in community activities during her high school career, including roles as: a representative and Vice President of Unified Sports / Special Olympics; a refugee supper services volunteer; president of her local DECA Chapter; and an event planner with UNICEF. Her hard work and dedication has resulted in an invitation to attend the prestigious Cornell University.
Read Ms. Henry's essay on the topic of "Know Your Neighbor." The essay challenged our applicants to discuss the tools they have used to set aside differences and get along with classmates, co-workers, and/or neighbors.
